A Walk in the Park – Pilot Scheme

Starting Tuesday 5th July 2022.

• Have you been diagnosed as Pre-diabetic?
• Do you have Type II Diabetes or have high blood pressure?
• Are you struggling to lose weight?
• Would you like to improve your health & fitness ?

We may be able to help you!

What we will do and how:

We are offering a pilot scheme to 50 patients who are pre-diabetic, have a high BMI, are Type II diabetes or suffer from hypertension.

• We will plan a home resistance program to increase your metabolic rate and improve your musculoskeletal health.
• We will run a walking group to increase your metabolic rate and overall fitness.

Our aim is to:

• Improve your health by reducing your blood pressure
• Improve your blood sugars
• Reduce your need for regular medication
